Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), a veteran lawmaker who chairs the House Science, Space and Technology Committee, is retiring at the end of his term and will not seek re-election in 2018, according to a statement from his office.

Did he take 15 minutes worth of parting shots at Trump?  I understand that's the custom now.

Ah yes, the Trump Opus...

They don't seem to get that crap just makes people like Trump more, even people that don't much like him in the first place?  If there's one thing that rubs people the wrong way, it's unfair play.

Yeah, the Liberty Score seemed a bit low.  But, I haven't taken the time to see what goes into determining it.
