Melania Trump donates inaugural gown to Smithsonian museum

First lady Melania Trump continued a more than 100-year tradition on Friday by donating her inaugural gown to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
"To be honest, what I would wear to the inaugural ball was the last thing on my mind," Trump said of giving the designer two weeks' notice to design a dress.
Herve Pierre, the designer of the cream silk off-the-shoulder gown, also attended the event.
"Thank you, Herve, for all that you did to create such a wonderful piece," Trump said.
