Emmy Host Stephen Colbert predicted the Trump-bashing 2017 Emmy Awards would have the largest television audience ever – but, instead it sank to a record low.
Colbert made his boast back in January when CBS announced he would be this year's Emmy host - and former White House Press Secreatry Sean Spicer repeated Colbert's prediction at the start of Sunday’s awards show:
