Fox News host Eric Bolling is leaving the network on the heels of a report that he had sent lewd text messages to female colleagues.

In a statement on Friday, Fox said that it was canceling "The Specialists," the late afternoon talk show co-hosted by Bolling that launched earlier this year, and that it had agreed to part with him "amicably."

"We thank Eric for his ten years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck," the statement said.

The news arrived on the same day that Charles Payne, a host on Fox's sister network Fox Business, will return to his job following an investigation into his own alleged sexual misconduct. Payne has denied the allegations against him.

Bolling's alleged behavior was detailed last month in a story published by HuffPost. He denied those allegations and later sued the reporter who wrote the HuffPost story, Yashar Ali.

Bolling did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

You know, from all these reports (which we do not know if they are true or not), at one time Fox News must have been a freakin' orgy. I guess?

Those Fox News babes are some of the most beautiful women in the country. So, in that sense, it does seem at least plausible. But, on a more practical level, it is more likely like the Catholic Church. Once one priest/Church was sued successfully, people were coming out all over as having been molested, whether they actually were or not.

There could some of that here. Once Fox News began to settle just on the mere accusation, then there is no reason for any woman to not claim that she was harassed. It's free money.

Well, when the allegation centers around something as easily to refute/confirm as obscene text messages and photos, there's not much point in just making it up.

Fox firing the guy pretty much confirms that they've verified the allegations.  I liked Bolling, and he was really becoming successful on FoxNews, along with having a new book.

But that's all toast now.

It appears to me that the company "culture" allowed for such misbehavior. It also appears that has changed.

One subject that gets little attention and press, is the extent to which organizations have powerful "cultures."

It doesn't take a genius to notice, the Fox Babes are both dressed and positioned so as to be visually appealing. That is for the distant viewers.

A woman should NOT be subject to continuous sexual innuendo. A company should not operate with a culture, that condones that.
