She shoots. She Drinks whiskey!    She rocks!

And she lives nearby!   :tongue2:
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Have you ever had to explain that to a waitress.  :( :thud:

Strange you mentioned that.  About 5 years ago, I ordered a Makers Mark Neat, and the the twenty something bartenderess brought out my drink with 95% ice with MM as flavoring.

I asked the young lady if she knew what a "neat" drink was.  She responded...  Yeah silly, it means it's not a mixed drink.    :thud:
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

Oy vay!

One time I was at a nice restaurant celebrating.  I ordered a glass off 25 yr old glenlivet neat.   They put ice in it.

What can you do but send it back.  The ice already melted to the point of it  being "Cutty" by the time you got it?

Can't stand that.  Glenlivet 18 is my preferred with a 15 being the option.

Can't go wrong with Talisker   The  balance of smoke and sweet is just about perfect

For a Speysider give me a Balvenie 12 year bourbon first fill.  Balvenie's best when it's not messed around with rum finishes and other such faddishness.
It's crackers to slip a rozzer the dropsy in snide

Well perhaps!  But not all that long ago that is exactly what would have happened here in our neck of the woods!

Well its akin to pasting a felt dog poker playing painting over a Monet' original.

OK, I got it.  That made me cringe just a bit.
