Hubby and I are on the tail end of gen-x but we had kids a little late. Our kids are nine, six, and four. Most of their peers' parents a re millennials. Let me just warn you that they are a hot mess! I overheard a group of them talking about it being appropriate to call off sick to spend time with the family (aka mental health day); after all, spending time with family makes one a better employee in the long run. I wanted to tell them that they are probably screwing up somebody else's family time to complete the extra work created by the a hole who called off sick.
