Come on, now...he took action so much, he even took ones beyond what the law allows!

The ones beyond the law was disappointing and his birterism was disappointing.

Honestly I'd like to know what Arpio has done that makes him a conservative. I really doubt it falls within the traditional definition of conservatism. Same with David Clarke.

People are declaring their personal little heroes to be conservative based on zero conservative criteria.

Conservatism has been blurry with populism for a while now, and now they're essentially indistinguishable.

Trumpism is just good old fashioned Teddy Roosevelt populist progressivism.

What's he need a pardon for in the first place?

Except to real conservatives who are still wondering what the heck happened to our movement.  It has clearly been marginalized by the populists

For one thing he enforced our immigration laws even when DOJ was telling him not to.

Court said he did. Sort of the rule of law thing conservatives are supposed to uphold?

Contempt of court.

Like I said "This a just another example of Obama politicizing the DOJ.". He was held in contempt for ENFORCING THE LAW! Immigration law to be exact.

I guess you are fan of open borders and don't want our immigration laws enforced.

Why is Sessions allowing the persecution to go on? And yes this is a persecution not a prosecution. I will be very disappointed the Trump does not step in and pardon Joe.

Obama killed "rule of law" in this country. The so called "law" is now a political weapon here, just like in every other 3rd world nation.

 Maybe but you have to follow a judges orders. You and I would have to, he should have to. There are other ways to accomplish this and Joe choose poorly. I don't think Trump will pardon him, at least, not before his last day in office.

Everybody has a opinion about this...except for the people of Maricopa County.  It seems the farther away one is, the more detestable Arpaio is.

Except to real conservatives who are still wondering what the heck happened to our movement.  It has clearly been marginalized by the populists

You mean the GHW Bush, Bob Dole, John McCain, Mitt Romney "movement," citing the previous Republican candidates going back several election cycles?

If one is rationally interested in winning, one would look skeptically at the lack of success, of that "movement."

Exit poll information, for those factually and information inclined, showed Trump won because of Republicans, conservatives, Christians, men, veterans, late deciders, unhappy with Obamacare, those wanting conservative USSC appointees,  etc.

If I were trying to restart a "conservative" movement, I would look carefully at the aforementioned losses, those Exit Poll figures, etc.

The far right column of single digit types, captures many on this site. And they play virtually no role, in election outcomes most of the time.

Mostly just a lot of talk. Talk without demonstrable action and results is not acceptable, if one seriously wants more conservative results, which is precisely what Trump is delivering now.

Yup.  After being reelected for decades.  Apparently we'd had enough of him, let's see how the Dem does...
