In another twist in the Russia investigation, it has been revealed that the Department of Justice under former President Barack Obama's administration cleared Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya for entry into the U.S. under “extraordinary circumstances” prior to her visit with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's son and two campaign aides.
The development reveals that Veselnitskaya was granted entry into the United States without a visa by the Department of Justice, rather than the standard procedure of an applicant processing a visa through the Department of State.
