The moon is a rotating sphere. It has a diameter of 32 miles and is located approximately 3000 miles above the surface of the earth.

Might have been hard to film there in those days. Nowadays anyone can catch the red-eye and be there for breakfast.

I was an associate school psychologist in a school in the NASA area (Clear Lake, Texas).  Astronauts' children were in our school system.  An astronaut's wife was our school nurse and her office was across from mine.  Now, these people existed, they were not fake.  The big NASA buildings were there, they were not fake.  However, we all knew the whole thing was fake - not.  We worried about these husbands/fathers every time they went into space.  You would know it was all true if you lived there.

I have been to the facility in Houston. If you go to that much trouble to make all that stuff, you might as well use it. This is as silly as saying the Navy is just a bunch of models in a bathtub.
