U.S. Senators are supposed to be the members of Congress who are the most measured, most disciplined, most respectable and respectful. But with Trump Derangement Syndrome wreaking havoc on the Democratic side of the aisle, all the rules of decorum are out the window. One result: an abundance of tweetable quotes from our moral superiors in the political class.
While speaking to an audience of fellow Democrats at the Personal Democracy Forum in New York City on Friday, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) decided that the only way to adequately express just how horribly President Donald J. Trump has failed to keep his promises to the American people was by using the English language's most versatile word.
"Has he kept his promises?" Gillibrand asked the audience rhetorically. "No. F*** no."
But the Democrat senator wasn't done yet.
