Pigs like Whoopie, Behar, silvermann, chuck Schumer's nephew, Chelsea Handle etal.@WingnutGreg Gutfeld and company were discussing this on The Five last night. The topic was how Leftist propaganda has replaced traditional comedy. All of those so called "comedians" never say anything, at least intentionally, that is funny. Almost all people calling themselves 'comedians' today, are far-Left Democrat shills, who wouldn't know a 'joke' if it slapped them in the face.
Their point was about Kathy Griffin. Like those people you mentioned, Whoopie, Bahar, Silverman, et al, their comedic careers were over years ago, so they transformed into Leftist icons instead of talent. The people who applaud people like Silverman or Griffin, are not applauding their alleged 'jokes', they are applauding their politics and their social views. It is applause of allegiance rather than appreciation. And this is where Griffin comes in.
She is at the end of her career and she knows it. So, she was trying to do what so many "comedians", like Rosie and Bahar and Whoopie have done, and to transform into a Leftist figurehead instead of a celebrity. That is why she did what she did. She may have been auditioning for a seat on the The View? No doubt the people on that show thought what she did was "ground breaking" and wonderful. And Griffin would be a "hero" to their audience.
