Removing four New Orleans statues commemorating Confederate leaders was only the beginning of the campaign to rewrite American history.  In the much larger City of Houston, Antifa activists are demanding the removal of a statue of that city’s namesake. KPRC TV reports:

     The Sam Houston statue has been at Hermann Park since 1925, but a group that calls itself Texas Antifa has started a campaign to take down this and any other landmark that bears the name Sam Houston.

Once they 'erase' all monuments of the Confederacy (which they think most people agree with), they will then move on to get rid of all monuments of the Founders, those evil, white slave owners who created an evil, racist and misogynistic nation in their thinking.

It's what all Socialist/Communist/Marxists do to societies they take over. They erase their history and rewrite it, which has been going on for decades in our school systems.

And in 20 years, once they have successfully gotten away with that, they will put up their own monuments to their revered gods - such as they have already erected in Seattle:

Spot on and exactly right.   Their agenda has no other motivation than that.  Certainly not the superior moral ""values"" they pretend to have when it comes to civil rights.  It's all about indoctrination and gaining (or regaining) power, as well.

Community Organizers have learned that any excuse for fomenting divisive anger is fair game--no matter how crazy the complaint is.  That's why we have snowflakes in college complaining that everything is racist.  (Remember also the dingbat activist at the University of Michigan who has complained that the dark paneling in the old admin building be eliminated because it intimidates students.)

You can bet that the whole mess is being orchestrated by Obama/Soros.  They are pulling out all stops to set up a war to destroy the Republic.

Look for Texas to go the Alabama route.
Statues over 40 years old will be grandfathered in.
That is a Hermann Park landmark.
Imagine what they'd do with the big Sam Houston Statue on Hwy 59 north in Huntsville?
Of course, that one is newer than 40 years.

There may be some laughs.  But as a CW heritage and history preservationist, I can tell you I. have seen one confederate statue come down after after another in the name of liberal whining bullshit.

Anything not minority based is fair game for them....
