^^^^^^^ THIS!

I dumped it all last year.  Limbaugh, Levin, Fox - the whole so-called pretend Conservative gamut of radio and TV blowhards.

Better to read the news than have it spoon-fed to you and spun into whatever angle the Party mucks and Propagandists want you to think of it.

YEP Welcome. I've been right there since Romney.

Levin was the last one I dumped.  He may be a true Conservative and has much to teach - but he kept threatening to bolt the GOP and always ends up endorsing whatever liberal they front and I just couldn't take him seriously anymore.  Bitching and moaning about someone you endorsed to millions and voted for, knowing they were a lifelong NY liberal Democrat is a bit silly and stupid in my estimation and he degraded my respect for him as a result.

Rush was worse - but Levin finally brought the whole charade of talk radio and Conservative media into focus for me and it's no different than what the Leftists do.

@INVAR

I used to listen to Levin with the Tune-In app on my phone, but I stopped a while ago... probably during the primaries... I was tired of him saying "one more inch" and he was done with the GOP.

His one more angry inch to go is about 26.1 miles past my already leaving the Republican party.

No talk radio, no FNC.............all was going well until some folks began insisting that if we didn't support DT, we were haters.  Seems I have turned into a snowflake.  I really do prefer people to state their opinion without showering insults on those with whom they disagree.

That ignorant pig Jeanine Pirro is another who declared that those who don't vote for Trump are committing some kind of act of betrayal. That was on the eve of the NH primary.

Now that FOX news and individual talking heads collapse, Trumpers are acting like some shadowy outside force is doing it. I can't really blame them though. The alternative is to accept the reality that Trumpism isn't nearly as popular as they want it to be despite approximately half of those who bothered to vote voting for him.

@Victoria33 he lost another sponsor today. USAA dropped him.

I would think that would hurt USAA more then Hannity.

Until he loses viewers they won't cut him.  At least not for losing a couple advertisers.   They should have a list of companies who want to buy ad time.

The greater risk to his show are the people trying to destroy Foxnews.

Rush sold out blatantly to Trump during the primary season and the moment he said to a woman  last July that if she didn't vote for Trump she was voting for Hillary is when I cancelled my 24/7 and turned him off for good.

You and I on the same day.  I actually received an e-mail a few days ago urging me to come back.  Ha!

My last Rush day was Rush saying Trump was a conservative because he was a billionaire, loved freedom, and had a reality show. The show was on 9/11 in 2015. I knew he was a fraud at that moment.

We don't know that Trump is a billionaire but we do know that he's no more conservative than actual billionaire George Soros.

If anything, Trump most closely fits the mold of Fabian socialist.

Fabian socialists want to remake the world in their own image for our own good whether we like it or not. They also tend to think of themselves as gods.

My experience is that it is the NeverTrump people that can't talk politics without throwing in a personal attack or two. See the post right below yours for an example.

Not really. USAA is a military only financial institution.

Have fun with GEICO or one of those other insurance companies with the cutesy ads in TV that are big time donors to Liberals and buy radar detectors for local LEO's.

Remind me again which side calls people democrats traitors and Hillary supporters colluding with the MSM to overthrow a President instead of actually discussing the meat of a political topic?

Yes. Because they have told us in the last few days, they hate those of us who will not walk in lock-step with them.  Either we fully support Trump and do not discuss anything that can be seen as a negative, or we are Democrats, traitors, conspirators, Coup supporters and haters.

This is war to them, and their only targets are those of us who refuse to seig-heil with them.  Because refusing to budge on Foundational principles are declared to be damaging to Trump and the party and the future of the USA.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Yup, I'm done with all of them.

I can decide what to read and think for myself. As far as I'm concerned, pundits have all the value of movie critics with none of the entertainment value. They're detrimental to the civic awareness of the population.

I suspect Jefferson would include the likes of Hannity, Limbaugh and others in his critique of the press because contrary to popular belief, they are part of that very same media they attack as "fake news".

To your request of my opinion of the manner in which a newspaper should be conducted so as to be most useful, I should answer ‘by restraining it to true facts & sound principles only.’ yet I fear such a paper would find few subscribers. it is a melancholy truth that a suppression of the press could not more compleatly deprive the nation of it’s benefits, than is done by it’s abandoned prostitution to falsehood.

Had Hannity or Limbaugh been around during the Constitutional Convention they would have complained about it back then.

Its kinda cute the way the lil Trumpers are all threatening that FOX will lose millions of viewers if they fire Hannity. Its a threat that rings hollow to a network that has already lost millions of viewers due to the likes of Hannity.

From what I've read Breitbart is also in freefall dropping from a ranking per views of around 30th to nearly 300th in the past 18 months.

Only about a third of the population initially supported the war against British.

Yes, the cry babies have blood on their hands from abandoning the sanctity of life, they fool no one, they might as well be Demon rats.  Next thing, these jokers will tell us is that they are Christians as well.

This is not how Sean and Rush have acted, what do you expect these jokers to do but back stab high profile Conservatives?
