In all fairness it is kinda hard to reach "the Mothership" for a quick retort these days.  Pretty much all they have have is Jungle drums and snail mail.

With the MotherServer down a bunch of Trumpsters wandering around lost is a scary thought indeed @Wingnut

If we compare Apples to Apples here, in the early days of GWB's Administration, the recount had delayed his Cabinet choices being seated and the Dems were screamin bloody murder, stolen election, just like now and though many here fault him for not speaking up, He certainly didn't embrace the Victim mentality or whine, if I remember correctly he was still trying to get his $hit together on that fateful day in September.

@INVAR
@txradioguy

In his speech to the Coast Guard yesterday, he said this:  "Look at the way I've been treated lately," he continued. "Especially by the media. No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly.

He has whined, complained, all his life that he is special among all of history and is treated unfairly more than anyone in history.
He finds fault with every single person as he actually believes no one is perfect like he is.  He believes that and that mindset guides him every single day.  He IS special in that his mind is screwed up like none other.

When did whining about an invisible boogey man suddenly become "stating the truth"?

We used to laugh at politicians and Presidents shrieking about conspiracies against them.

Seriously..... if you can't see and discern what is actually going on (the leftist attempted coup to take down the Trump presidency) as more than a mere conspiracy....and as factual reality.... I don't know what to tell ya.  It's either willful reluctance to see it.... or it's a mental disability that I would be loathe to have to point out.   In my humble opinion, anyone that either won't or can't see that reality is part of the problem.

And how is this different from Mitch McConnell saying he was going to do everything he could to make Obama a one-term president?

The UniParty is where this so-called "attempted coup" is coming from. Outside the Beltway, no one is giving a whit about Special Prosecutors, Russian hacking, etc. What will matter is if nothing gets down in DC, i.e. no tax reform, no wall, no Obamacare repeal, and the UniParty will pay a heavy price next year. Only difference is that UniParty members with an 'R' after their names will be the ones sent back to the private sector. The ones with D's after their names have marginalized themselves, particularly those pining for another run by Hillary.

Xena, we most certainly see and comprehend what is actually being attempted by the Left and the Establishment Oligarchy.  That does not automatically necessitate us jumping into the trenches with the Trump Militant to defend their leader.

We are not blind to the fact that Trump and his people are handing out ammunition to their opposition on a daily basis.  They are chucking hand grenades at all their enemies while forgetting to pull the pin.

Whining about it when you are the person providing them the avenues to exploit is the height of incompetence.

Supporting a general who insists on running right up the middle into fortified positions in just his underwear and armed with only a cellphone is not something we plan on sacrificing ourselves for, especially considering we do not know what it is exactly that he is fighting for.

Unless you live in KY and were part of the grassroots Tea Party movement.  Then the threat was much more tangible, real and devastating.

Just wondering, do Trump supporters play 7th calvary privates surrounding Custer?, or take the approach of a transition to Pence.

Let's get this straight: In your view, the privates at Little Big Horn when outnumbered, should have deserted?

#nevertrumps were never in the battle, what with their pipsqueak 3rd party vanity choices, and your deserter mentality reinforces why you don't deserve a seat at the adult political table now.

And that is one point on which we disagree.  While it is true that Trump provides the left ammo for ridicule via some (most?) of his tweets.... I do not see it as him providing the rabid left with "avenues" to attack him.  They are looking for and when not found, creating those avenues out of thin air via this "death by a thousand cuts" campaign of media assault on him.  There is not, to my knowledge at this time, one iota of proof of Trump's wrongdoing in all this mess.  The left is, as always, only too willing to ignore that if/when it's not a gdamned Democrat involved.  They don need no steenken proof then.

I get it that you don't like Trump.  But don't let that cloud your judgment re: what is an ongoing campaign and agenda to reverse the results of last November's election.... just because the rabid left is pissed that they lost.  Just sayin....

And Mitch's reward was a cozy Cabinet post for his wife.

I disagree!  I think that's the second time.   888high58888

We don't disagree much, sir, but on this one we do.

Trump should act like a man.  (Or a strong woman, for that matter).

This kind of victimhood swill is due to his deep liberal roots.

Fight evil with strength, not childishness.  You can't fight a dangerous enemy with tears and a "poor me" complex.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

Right. GW Bush was docile, much like Dole, McCain and Romney.

But nevertheless, he managed to teach us that islam was a religion of peace, and later push his amnesty program.

Then he turned his office and both chambers of the legislature over to the dems.

Or it is good to see somebody finally fight back.

Hear, hear!  As a mere 26 YO lad (maybe a bit more than a lad, I was nearing the end of my 4th year in Germany as an Air Defense Artillery officer...lol), I stood up for Ronald Reagan during the last few months of the election, engaging my German neighbors who were convinced that Reagan would start WWIII, and they were pleading with me to vote for Carter.

I engaged my neighbors in friendly conversation, pulling together my knowledge of world/US/military history to prove why Reagan was the better choice, and I did it for them in near-fluent German. I didn't belittle or demean them, I knew most of them came of age during WWII. I simply laid out the case, and told them that he'd also been a good governor for the state of California for 8 years.

Shortly after Inauguration Day, I was invited to sit at the stammtisch at that gasthaus, a table reserved for family and close friends of the family. It's an honor I cherish to this day, rarely accorded to an American. O/T, I think I'd be a great ambassador to Germany.

Fast forward 36 years, and I would likely have dined away from the discussions, professing "Ich kann nicht Deutsche sprechen!"   :silly:

Catfish my brother, I'll be standing with you, on that you can be assured of.

This one remembers the TOS talking point that it's important to bash GW Bush in order to build up Trump.

It never works, but they keep trying.

"Fighting back" only works if you're fighting for the truth........ and whining like a pre-adolescent girl isn't exactly what I'd call "fighting."
