Hannity did just the right thing in response to such an accusation -- go back after the accuser.
It's what Bill O'Reilly -should have- done. Fight back with all guns blazing. If he had done that, he'd probably still be there.
I'm guessing that the legal eagles at Fox News are the ones responsible for Fox paying settlements vs. fighting the accusations. You know most attorneys are about as liberal as they come. It has become much easier to pay up than fight these BS allegations and the corporations call the tune. O'Reilly probably could have just resigned, of course, if he had not agreed to settle. But that would have been his only option (again, my guess here).
Giving in to the left's intimidation, accusations and BS is always a bad idea, IMO.
