Brazos River flood levels headed to the Houston area.
« on: April 12, 2017, 05:23:04 pm »

We will see in a couple days where the peak is expected to reach for my area (Rosharon).  Last year's peak that would have flooded the house was at 52.56 ft.

@thackney
How close are you to the Brazos?

I am not that close.

I live a about mile north/northeast of the Sugar Factory, So 90A in Richmond, or 99/59 is the closest I am to it.

High enough for you to get out the portable rubber dam?

Probably not, but 2 more days will likely tell.

Looks like over 8 foot lower than last year peak.  It may get some in the Richmond/Rosenburg area but should be no major impact near us.  Maybe a couple house by the river at risk and flooded pastures.
