Research Shows IMMIGRATION ARRESTS Higher Than Ever, Making THIS the Top Arresting Agency in the U.S.

According to a Pew report, about half of all arrests made by federal agents are for immigration-related crimes. Over the past decade, immigration arrests have increased substantially.
Now, the agency responsible for federal crimes involving illegal immigration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), is America’s top arresting agency.
Pew Research Center conducted analysis on Bureau of Justice Statistics data. Research shows that of the 165,265 arrests made in total in 2014 by the federal government, 50% were for offenses related to immigration. Just 10 years ago, that numbers was just 28%.
