FLOTUS Fashion

"I believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes. I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey it laws; to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies." -William Page

It is nice to see a First Lady who doesn't dress in such a way as to make me cringe.

She looks so much better in a dress than Bill Clinton would have. :nometalk:

Melania is beautiful, she can pull of just about anything.  You could put her in a brown burlap bag and she could still make it look good.

While this isn't my favorite outfit, it appears that they are starting to duplicate some of her dresses and make them affordable to the general public.  This outfit is available for $116.99 and in a multitude of colors. It appears that it is being made outside of the U.S. by Ali Express.

Here's a different look for FLOTUS (I'm keeping an eye on the belts ...  ^-^)

Carried this over from the other thread because this, too, is a different look ... and quite nice for a visit to a school with the first lady of China:

Believe it or not, she was criticized for wearing a sleeveless outfit!  I only wish I looked that good in a sleeveless anything.  Why the belts??

Wow,  the media's desperate for (bad) news on Melania. (See link).  On the plus side, there are tons of photos included with the article.

I liked the pre-inaugural events even more so than the actual inauguration.  This picture IMHO won her the honor and title of being First Lady.

Both ladies were lovely. The queen's dress makes her look bundled up, but I think she carried it off.

And now for something completely different (I'll make the photo small so no one has to gag):

The current culture deviated radically from previous human experience, ruthlessly reducing each woman and man to mere political units to be manipulated, balkanizing them into communities according to their likes and dislikes, so everything from cars to candy bars could be more effectively marketed, robbing them of their privacy, denying them both a real community of diverse views and the possibility of personal evolution by censoring the world they saw through the Internet to make it conform to the preferred beliefs of their self-appointed betters. - Dean Koontz

Check out Chelsea's shoes.  Is it me or are they too big?

Bill Clinton's head has been too big since he lost all that weight, like Al Sharpton.

I haven't seen that.  I'll just be restrained and say the Democrat should have made another choice.  She couldn't pull it off.
