Gerson is a little over the top in his denunciation...for one thing where's this huge famine he's spouting off about?
Trump is doing about 5 on a scale of 10.  But Hillary would be 0 for 10.
I guess we can be grateful for that and hope His Orangeness grows out of his adolescent behavior.

I just read that Ivanka and Jared Kushner are becoming the dominant power center in Trump's WH. That should make for some interesting contortions defending the stuff that Trump will propose in the next few years.

Trump hasn't done anything really to secure any trust with most of the GOP House members or those in the Senate.

He really needs to do that and stop attacking Conservatives...especially this close to the mid terms.  He's just giving the Dems ammo to use against the Republicans running this year.

When you get right down to it, why do Trump supporters think they can shame people with accusations of disliking Trump? 

This is America.  When did not liking a politician--- or anyone else, for that matter--- become wrong?  It's a free country and we can all like or dislike whomever we want.

Dislike of Trump is perfectly valid, is not shameful or wrong, and doesn't need to be defended.

@libertybele posted a diatribe about various Trump failures.  I simply helped her to understand that she was mistaken about some of them.  She reacted badly.  I gave up and admitted that I am a something I don't remember.
