From Block M to Punisher skull, firearms get personal touch
« on: December 29, 2016, 11:19:50 am »
SAGINAW, MI - Rick Coombs, co-owner of Reaction Armory in Saginaw, airbrushes the finishing touches of a skull onto an AR pistol component.

He paints a menacing red spot on the hollow, black eye and carefully defines its teeth.

Coombs and his business partner Chad Richards custom decorate firearms. They've painted skulls on AR pistols, University of Michigan themes on Glocks, a patriotic flag design on an AR-15 rifle, camouflage designs on many guns and the Punisher skull on a Taurus Millennium G2 pistol for a Marine.

They use Cerakote, an epoxy-based firearm paint that is baked onto guns in an oven.
