Just a warning not to get too cocky.

I'll be cocky. This the same Commie Pinko Joy Reid that pedaled the same NBC polls that said Donny was so unpopular that he wouldn't be nominated? Wouldn't win if he were nominated?

With Donald Trump’s campaign continuing to careen into incoherence, it’s becoming increasingly clear that barring some unforeseen circumstance (or low non-white voter turnout) Hillary Clinton will likely win the presidency.

He had the luck of having a terrible inept opponent. With a good opponent, IMO he would have lost.

Not everyone who voted for Trump is crazy about him.

Yeah, and not everyone that voted for Reagan was crazy about him in '80. The first 2 years of Reagan sucked as a matter of fact. It wasn't until his policies kicked in that things started looking good. If Donny can follow through with his first 100 days crap, he will be in good shape.

As for another Rat beating Donny, just who was that going to be? OMalley? The Bern? Webb? Those are the three loser you have to choose from and 2 of them bailed before the first Primary vote was cast. That leaves the Bern, a Socialist loser who couldn't even beat Hitlary. There is no evidence that any Rat would have beaten the GOP candidate.

Basically identical to what I'm saying. It's all on Trump. And he didn't win a Reagan-Nixon type landslide.

And who saw Obama coming in 2004? I don't recall anything about him until 2007 or so.

And who saw Obama coming in 2004? I don't recall anything about him until 2007 or so.

"The keynote address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention (DNC) was given by then Illinois State Senator, United States senatorial candidate, and future President Barack Obama on the night of Tuesday, July 27, 2004. His unexpected landslide victory in the March 2004 Illinois U.S. Senate Democratic primary made him a rising star within the national Democratic Party overnight, started speculation about a presidential future, and led to the reissue of his memoir, Dreams from My Father.[1] His keynote address was well received, which further elevated his status within the Democratic Party and led to his reissued memoir becoming a bestseller.[2]"
