Verizon to sell data centers to Equinix for $3.6 bln

Interesting. A lot of talk lately about Verizon buying up old internet powerhouses (AOL last year, Yahoo pending). Now they are selling off parts of companies they don't need at what it seems to be, a nice profit. Most of these centers were purchased as part of the Terremark deal for $1.4 Billion and they are flipping them for $3.6 Billion (after keeping what they needed from Terremark). Not bad.
