Legal immigration and illegal Immigration Statistics

There are more legal immigrants and more foreign born people in America now than ever before.

The latest numbers from the Census Bureau indicate the following...

Statistical data from the 2013 ACS or American Community Survey (Conducted by the US Census Bureau) shows that America's total immigrant population (legal and illegal) grew by 1.4 million from July 2010 to July 2013.

These immigration statistics suggest also that 3.3 million new legal and illegal immigrants settled in the United States in that same period! These new arrivals were offset by immigrants that returned home and the deaths among the existing legal and illegal immigrant populations. The 'immigrant population', referred to as the foreign-born by the Census Bureau, includes all those who were not U.S. citizens at birth, including illegal immigrants.
