13 facts that should be etched on Castro’s tombstone and highlighted in every obituary

In an op-ed in today’s Washington Post, Carlos Eire (Professor of History and Religious Studies at Yale University) says  “Farewell to Cuba’s brutal Big Brother” and writes that “If this were a just world, these 13 facts below would be etched on Castro’s tombstone and highlighted in every obituary, as bullet points — a fitting metaphor for someone who used firing squads to murder thousands of his own people.”
