I think Donald Trump has been binge-watching Glengarry Glen Ross again. He’s reliving Al Pacino’s monologue as Ricky Roma. Can someone please tell the president-elect that he has won the election?

In a series of tweets on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, Trump is monologuing to re-explain the many hypothetical ways he could have won, even if the Electoral College was not used. It’s a classic example of selling past the close.

There’s a time to react to pointless and stupid gestures like the Wisconsin recount, and a time to leave things well alone. Trump’s obsessive compulsion to respond makes him incapable of discerning those times.

I can only hope that once he enters the White House, someone will physically remove his smartphone from his hands, and keep it locked up for four years. The man should not be allowed to tweet without supervision.

You are right, and they are. Part of the game is to undermine faith in Wisconsin elections, and then point at the failed Recall of Walker. It's all about discrediting the GOP, and by blaming them for things the Dems have been doing all along.

It is a standard tactic of the Left to strike first, accusing their opponents of doing what crimes or vile actions they, themselves, are doing. It puts their opponents on the defensive, and counter accusations of impropriety by the Left only appear to be counterstrikes, and not justified complaints, so they can be dismissed easily in the media unless there is some serious evidence, and sometimes even then. I have seen others use the tactic as well.
