A Border Patrol agent involved in the traffic stop that resulted in the death Tuesday of a Nassau County deputy after he was struck with a car identified at least three people in the country illegally, a statement from U.S. Border Patrol says.
A Border Patrol agent and two Nassau County deputies approached the stationary vehicle at a gas station on State Road 200 with five people inside early Tuesday morning, First Coast News is reporting.
