I can think of several, right off the bat: Lynch, Obama, FBI professionals, his wife, public opinion (for), public opinion (against), the media, the Clinton Foundation, his own conscience....

Good start for sure but I dont think his own conscience had a lot to do with his actions. Plenty more replacements for it though!

I have sympathy for her. I shouldn't but I do...

Fact is though, she made huge errors in judgement that led to this.

Without the email scandal we'd be looking at President HRC today.

Hillary,

Take a hint and go away. Go run for governor of some blue state like NY. I think you might do well.

Without the US military, Hitler would have won the war.

I don't know if you were around in the 90's but people hated her back then and that was before she even knew what email was. All that scandal did was remind people what a lying sack of shit she is, but without it there were a bunch of other things that would come up about her corrupt life.

Oh, I think he has a conscience... he's just too weak to listen to it for long.  I think the "re-opening the investigation" thing was spurred, in part, by his conscience.

I think to Comey this was just like going into battle -- they say you never know how you'll react until you're actually there.

Comey stared into the lion's mouth with this one -- it was a legitimately huge case, with world-shaking implications.  There was a lot of pressure put on him to do other than what an honest and thorough investigation would do, and he broke under the pressure.

Apparently his wife is pissed at him for buckling.  The dynamics in the Comey home have no doubt changed.

How can she blame Obama?  In my political knowledge realm (c.1968-to now), I can't remember an POTUS incumbent working that hard for his replacement.

One truly delusional bitch.  IF she is mad, I hope she blows some whistles.

I think that she thought that Obama should have exercised more control over Comey.

Yeah.  I can sympathize with her to the extent that her decades-long, single-minded desire for the presidency has been dashed.  I can feel bad for somebody when they fail like that.  But damn, I'm glad she lost.

If by "made huge errors in judgment" you mean, "was dishonest, corrupt, and incompetent," then I suppose I agree.  But whether or not she started out that way as a child, even back in 1972 she'd shown her true colors, working on the Watergate committee.

If instead you mean, she did stupid and illegal things that could and would be discovered, I also agree.

You're almost certainly correct.  Her lamentably awful record would never have been enough to tar her as dishonest and untrustworthy (though in a rational world, her record would have disqualified her early...)

I think you're on to something -- I could easily see her running for governor of NY, and winning.

She's in her late 60's, why would she want the headache.  She'll have a full time job taking care of her husband's failing health.  Hmmm....rethinking that last sentence....   With Obamacare, Bill will likely be put down like a lame horse.

Hillary doesn't get mad, she gets even.

Stay tuned.

She'll have to do her own dirty work - her 'crew' has by now probably locked up the shop & hit the bricks.

I'll take solace in thinking about all the people she abused over the years to maintain her power suddenly turning on her.

Whats that saying about being careful who you step on climbing power's ladder?

Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

Hmmmm....

As hard as I may try, I can't work up any sympathy
This might make me an evil person, but whenever they showed the crowds of Hillary supporters with the dejected looks and tears pouring down their mugs, I smiled.  I guess I'm just horrible.

I don't have much sympathy at all for Hillary. She made it pretty plain that her admin was going to be a pro-woman i.e. anti-male admin. She had a lot of scores to settle with many people, mostly men.  Good riddance. She can console herself with the 350 million she and her hubby fleeced the sheep for.

This.

I am usually accused of being too soft-hearted and forgiving.  Not with this bitch.  I am gleeful at the imagine of her inconsolable grief.  She is so justly deserving of this and so much more.

"Lock her up!"
"Lock her up!"

Would not be a good thing to do. Just let the Clintons go to their retreat with their millions. Just having the Clinton's out of the White House and out of the news will thrill me.
A newly elected president trying to jail the person he just defeated makes us look like a banana republic.  Besides, King Barack will pardon her if she's charged with anything.

OK... I know I'm a bad person for this... but when I read articles like this one I just can't help bursting out into laughter...  :silly:
I guess you've heard of the Oscar Wilde quote "One must have a heart of stone to read the death of little Nell without laughing."  Little Nell was a character from Dickens's "The Old Curiosity Shop."

Still can't seem to muster even a smidgeon of sympathy.

Any other Democrat? Maybe. But not her. All the people she has damaged and threatened over the years are grinning the biggest grin right now. Travelgrate, going after Bill's accusers, leaving those Ambassadors in Libya while every other country was pulling them out so her disasterous policy there wouldn't be noticed, calling their families liars, and watch her smirk in that hearing and hi fiving Alec Hastings...

You get the idea

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

With lots of prayer and a good doctor, you can be cured of that horrible, horrible condition. I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope your suffering ends soon.

Comey ought to be fired for announcing the email probe 11 days before the election, instead of recommending charges in the summer.  Sunday's move was even more absurd.  Obama appears to have politicized the FBI, just as he politicized the DOJ and IRS.

She's right to blame Obama, but maybe she doesn't blame him enough.  On every hot-button topic, he pushed the envelope.  The voters pushed back in 2014, but he covered his big ears and pretended not to notice.

So that she and her complicit daughter can work on foisting said daughter onto the country at a later date for yet another run at selling out our country for cash?

No thank you.  The whole bunch need to pay for their crimes.

Remember the old saying, "History repeats ... first as tragedy, then as farce".  We got the first two already with Bill and Hillary.

I don't know what the third round of history is, but if Chelsea were ever to run for anything, I think "downright pathetic" would probably be pretty close.

Sorta like Caroline Kennedy?  Now THAT was pathetic.
