Wikileaks - "you should be doing small events"
« on: November 02, 2016, 03:13:11 pm »
I've seen a lot of emails related to this which is one reason people shouldn't judge event size based on support. Her campaign's strategy is specifically to do just small events, not stadium events. In another email, they even said they didn't want some events to have more than 100 people. They want to control the message and image so much and they feel much larger and they lose control.

Very good 36 hours in New Hampshire.  People absolutely love Mike and are taking a lot of comfort in his selection.  Overall, people seemed calm, confident, and excited about the campaign.  People also really like the Political Director, Kari Thurman.  She ran the schedule like clockwork and was almost Huma-esque in her ability to keep us moving through a tight series of appointments. The organizers are so hungry and excited--it was very inspiring.
Absolutely everyone we talked with agreed that you should be doing small events that aren't packaged or produced--and that you should go directly to regular voters.  Everyone was on board with not having a state leadership structure or rolling out big political endorsements.....
