Is this more of your attempt to paint Reagan as an evil guy? Because you do that a lot.

Trying to help Hillary win by mocking her opponent?   Why are you doing this?  Is your need to be "right"  and "virtuous"  so strong that you would aid the enemy?

Hillary represents the party of Death.   The politics of Death will gain if she wins.   Why would you help her?

I've posted anti-Hillary stuff.  I mock both of the major liberals in the race.

They're both opponents of the conservatives in the race, so why do you help the liberals?

@DiogenesLamp
    Why would YOU almost Guarantee HER election by nominating the only Republican that could not  BEAT her?   All the Data was there before the Republican Convention convened, you refused to see it then and NOW we refuse to help you elect one NY Liberal or the other NY Liberal.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

@CatherineofAragon

This story hit home because day before yesterday in the extended area where my townhouse is, an elderly man who lived with his son, took a walk which he sometimes did, and he did not return home.  They looked for him all day, volunteers came to search and also police and the next day called in a professional search group and he was found dead about a mile from the son's house.  His body will undergo an autopsy to determine why he died.

When I saw the title of this article, because of this real story of the elderly man, I thought it was a serious article.

@Norm Lenhart

Have you ever noticed that when someone can't actually defend the people they like, they just try to bring others down?

Yeah, so...
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

How sad...I'm in my early 60s, and I fear deadly diseases and heart attacks far less than I fear Alzheimer's or dementia. My mother passed away 11 months ago, but we really lost her a few years before that.

In a lighter vein, I've told my kids that the clearest sign that I've "lost it" is when all I can talk about is the summer of 1979, one of the best summers of my life, both professionally and personally.

I think your crazy uncle was last seen with my drunk grandma.

But she's a nice drunk. It's only when she's sober that she's mean as hell. Cursing and throwing things. A "nasty woman".

Sorry you lost your mom and she had some type of dementia.
The area where the son of the man lives, is Kingwood, and that is an upscale neighborhood, not out in the country, however they have a lot of citified wooded area in that neighborhood.

Dementia:  Many on this forum know I am 83 and likely some think I am demented.  If you believe that, keep it to yourself, umkay?   savme

We have a Major Liberal,  and we have a relatively a-political guy who pretended to be a Liberal because it suited his interest for most of his career.

Donald Trump is not an ideologue.   He has mostly ignored Federal politics for most of his life,  and he is not really motivated by an ideology.

Hillary on the other hand is a true-believer.   She is a Liberal with a capital "C" (for Communism)  and everything in her life bears out the fact that she is an utter hard-core socialist rage-witch.

Seriously,  did you know that Saul Alinsky was one of her idols?  You know,  the guy who dedicated his book to Lucifer?

So your characterization of the race as being between "both of the major liberals" is simply incorrect.   We have one "Major"  liberal,   and at worst case one "Minor"  liberal,   but more likely someone who is not really  a follower of any organized political philosophy.

No! I reject your premise!   Stop blaming me for what other people did.   I voted for Ted Cruz in the primary,  I did not want Donald Trump.     I prefer an ideologue,  and someone with the intelligence and the temperament to advance conservative ideology for the right reasons.

That the rest of my party chose Donald Trump is something I simply have to acknowledge.   I think they made a mistake,   but now it is childish to whine about it.

 All the Data was there before the Republican Convention convened, you refused to see it then and NOW we refuse to help you elect one NY Liberal or the other NY Liberal.

But you *ARE*  helping a NY Liberal,  (really she's from Chicago.  I wish people would get this straight.)  by constantly attacking someone who is at most,  a New York moderate.    More like he is a New York non-ideologue who doesn't really care about the philosophical underpinnings of  his policies,  he just goes with whatever sounds good to him at the time.

(there are a lot of people who follow this methodology.)

And what is worse,   I don't think any of you are attacking Trump because you really believe he is worse than Hillary,  I think you are attacking him because you want to punish everyone for not going along with what you wanted.

You want to exercise "veto"  power on the wishes of the majority of your party.   You are like a child throwing a temper tantrum because it didn't get it's own way.

You are like the puritans,  who cannot brook any disagreement with their understanding of scripture,  and who will vengefully assail anyone who challenges them as "heretics"  and "blasphemers."

You aren't motivated by what's best for the nation,  you are motivated by a burning desire for revenge on those people who didn't heed your advice!   Everyone of you is set to pounce with your "I told you so!"   You are invested in a defeat,  because it is the only means by which you can attain the satisfaction of being "right".   Meanwhile the country will burn,   but for many of you,  that is a small price to pay so long as your pride gets rewarded.

Many of you need to look inward and recognize your real motivation for what it is.

Yeah, so...

They are beginning from a failing premise. That a liberal is presidential material.

They have no choice but using liberal tactics to achieve their goal. They certainly cannot legitimately support their positions factually so tearing down conservative icons is really all they can do. Well, try to. As if dome anonymous lib on the net is going to tear down the most beloved and well documented President in their lifetime.

C'mon, Norm,  stop being so unnecessarily personal.   Trump can and should be opposed on the merits;  there's no need to belittle his supporters like you keep doing.

There is when they pull idiocy like rejecting sound premise to aoid addressing points. And that particular line is a favorite of Trumpists here on FR.

So yes. It should be personal because they 'personally' reject the premises' There is ZERO wrong with pointing out that no one cares what excuse a Trump supporter offers up to avoid the issue.

Politics ain't beanbag. After months of "Hillary supporter' BS that took very personal aim at conservatives rejecting Orange Glorious, they can take a dose of their own medicine.

He's 70. Sometimes he likes to dress up with a toupee or wig and a suit.

Being 70, he's a bit of a bigot. Great fun when you get a few drinks in him and he still fancies himself a player.

Your uncle actually looks better in that picture of him.

If you've seen him, please contact local police. His current wife Melania is mildly concerned.

Wow!  I am blocking Diogenes so I didn't see the original post.  Can he possibly be serious?  And sane?  He cannot be both.  Trump was nominated by a fluke ... we've discussed it a million times.

Too many candidates at first and the only recognizable name to a lot of people was Trump ... but still he never got even 40% of the vote.

If people really loved Trump as D seems to think, why do they despise him now.  Even among Republicans, he is universally detested if you don't count the zombies.

I don't count the zombies.
