Broncos' Brandon Marshall loses sponsorship after anthem kneel

The Air Academy Federal Credit Union has terminated its sponsorship deal with Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall after he knelt during the national anthem before Thursday's game against the Panthers.

The organization said while Marshall has every right to kneel during the anthem, "his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership."

While we respect Brandon’s right of expression, his actions are not a representation of our organization and membership. We wish Brandon well on his future endeavors.

The NBA has for some time been called "thugball" by some, I always thought that terminology was a bit out-of-line; but undoubtedly as we have seen with Aaron Hernandez and others, some of these players are gangbangers so if they have some leeway to act in this fashion, it could be hard to control.
