Haha, I have no idea. But man, that is a helluva wall. This is 10 feet taller than the Israeli wall, and about 25 feet taller than the Berlin wall.

The wall today will be 35-45 feet, next week it'll only be about 15 ft. and then he'll decide it's too obstructive and insulting to Mexico so he won't build the wall at all. Besides, Mexico can't afford it!

And as for the fence, that is already authorized and in the works, the 2006 secure border act already has a large fence going in where it can. He is taking credit for a decade old project that is already in progress.

Promising to finish the fence was why they called Ted Cruz weak, he made a promise he could actually keep.

Trump makes bold promises that he has no hope of keeping like saying blacks won't get shot if he becomes president.

I just remember that Trump said/promised on at least three occasions that 'the wall just got ten feet higher'. Now, where there is a wall, he is saying it will be 35 feet tall. Does this mean his plans for the original wall was only going to be five feet tall?

I love it when people bring up the West Bank Wall because a vast majority of it isn't a wall, it is just a double layer fence (you know, like what we have now and is being expanded via the 2005 Secure Fence Act), and the 11 miles that are actually a wall have been under construction since 2000- 16 years for 11 miles.

Yes the Secure Fence Act of 2006 was approved by both Houses of Congress; however, it is my understanding that only a portion of it has been actually funded. 

As for taking credit -- well, he can't take credit unless he's actually president and he gets it done.   I don't see either happening.
