Dropping little turds along the way which he/they apparently 'think' are pearls.  They've gone nose-blind to the smell of those littler pearls they drop.

"Nose-blind"......... I like that.

In fact it's a perfect description of one who cannot perceive the odor of one's regurgitated (or otherwise expelled from one's body) dirtiness.

Trump was gift wrapped for United States citizens by McConnell, Boehner and Ryan and that ilk.

Trump is one of that ilk. Check out his donations and his endorsements.

Nevertheless, I regret to this day that I didn't vote for President in 1992.

@hiram1950

The positive effect of your vote was that there was an awakening that The People could hold The Elect responsible.

A somewhat conservative Congress was a resukt, too.

True, you have convinced me not to leave it blank, I will vote for Castle.

Oh I won't be staying home either.  Just won't be voting for Hitlerly or Trump.  Lot's of good down ticket candidates in my parts.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

The point is not to "fix" anyone.  It's to vote with a clear conscience, and not live to regret voting for a hard core liberal.... either Hillary or Trump.

I'm not going to have any regrets after I vote, but I think many who vote for either corrupt liberal will..........

Things often go awry, but, with good luck, we can listen to "Never Trumps" i.e. the No Trumpers tell us for the next four years, "I told you so," or, "Don't blame me."

I'm not entirely sure what a "Trump boot-licker" is. Idolizing most any human being wastes energy irretrievably. In this instance, all consuming hatred of a subject to the benefit of an equally or more contemptible rival might be self-consuming.

No one here is suffering from "all consuming hatred."

Unless it's Trumpers' feelings towards Cruz, that is...........

So how to explain the all-consuming worship Trumpkins have for Trump?  How to explain that they all "have religion" and cannot abide by any criticism of him, to the point where they demanded - and got - their own little safe space on the forum, where only praise can be spoken of Trump, and from which anyone who dares to speak the least iota of criticism of Trump is banished?  We have our very own mini-FR, just to accomodate the Trumpkins.

I don't see any #nevertrump demanding, much less being offered, a similar little kiddie romper room safe space.

You need to go look in the mirror if you want to start expatiating about hatred and and idolization.

Facts are interesting concepts.

Regarding Trump we seem to be treated day after day to "facts" about his flaws. Some facts about him since he announced as a Republican appear to have materialized out of thin air. I don't know him that well. We never met.

I was a Cruz guy. That made me a target in some circles from archers that made Never Trumpers amateurs in comparison.

I just think the bad guy in this race is clinton. I doubt she ever touched anything starting at least as far back as the Watergate Fire Nixon Committee that didn't leave raw sewage in her wake.

Sad. Nevers are so bruised by the primaries they will embrace any negative, outlandish lie, in this case a false characterization about Trump, and disbelieve all the positive information about the nominee.

Nevers have their noses pushed out of joint and they are gonna remind everyone of that over and over on every thread, like children throwing a temper tantrum.

It's sad to see adults act this way on such an important matter as the future of their country.

Nice "concern troll" attempt.

Had this been a real post, there would been an attempt to refute the points made in the article with evidence disproving it.  Links would be posted.

Well, you see, "day after day" there is actual EVIDENCE that he is deeply flawed.  As for never meeting him........... do you read?

The problem is there are TWO bad guys in this election, and many of us can't in good conscience vote for either of them.  No one here needs to be told that Hillary is corrupt.  We know.  But apparently some of you haven't read enough to realize that Trump is equally corrupt, and equally liberal, and probably more immoral.

As for the "Cruz guy" claim....... that's what many people say they were when they're new to the forum, and then they quickly jump into Cruz bashing mode and Trump praising.

It remains to be seen where you'll end up going, but precedent has clearly been set for a number saying they were what they clearly were not.

Nope.  I will not damn my principles for a 3rd consecutive election.  Especially not for this trojan horse.

I once felt that way. In 1992 I didn't vote for President because Bush lied when he said, "Read my lips..."

Enough Republicans felt the way I did that we ushered in 8 and maybe 16 years of clinton. The worst part of that decision was the MSM touted Bush's problem that year day after day and subsequently reinforced my decision to ignore Bush. Ergo, I was a puppet for Dan Rather, Tom Brokaw, Peter Jennings and whoever the puppeteer was at CNN. Rush Limbaugh hadn't made it to the Big Show yet, so Bush had no defenders beyond National Review, and their readership has always been too small for any sea change.

I like principles as much as the next guy. One of mine is this nation...going in the right direction...or more slowly in the wrong direction...is still to be saved and worth saving. Eight and, maybe, sixteen years of clinton is a pretty high price we paid because too many people like me needed our candidate to jump smartly through every hoop.

If you really voted for Bush, McCain and Romney, and now plan to sit it out, then you are voting, pure and simple. Bush was never going to win 10 electoral votes in Minnesota. Nevertheless, I regret to this day that I didn't vote for President in 1992.
I'm not going to sit it out. I'm not voting for a NY Liberal, either. I am voting to try to bring another party into the fore. That will take time, but I'm not voting for a person so much as the principles they stand for, and they are in the Party Platform. If this year's person gets to uphold those principles, all the better, but that, in casino parlance, is a longshot.

I voted GOP until the GOP morphed Left, then voted for TEA party backed candidates here, because our TEA party groups were still not compromised by a national cadre, composed of GOP 'Moderates'. When most of the folks the TEA party movement helped get elected promptly forgot their promises at the podium by the time they were sworn in, it was obvious the GOP had moved on.

Oddly enough, a serious period of introspection pretty much proved I had not changed my positions on issues one whit. The GOP had moved on, to the Left, even as the Democrats like Hubert H Humphrey likely would be rejected as GOP candidates today for being too conservative, and not for being liberals.

I won't waste my vote. I'm voting against the Democrat and the Republican, on the basis of those principles I have held so long, but which both of those parties have, in practice, ignored of late. You can find them in the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, The Bill of Rights, and in the voluminous writings of the Founders.

Let the chips fall where they may. Without awakening the somnolent and distracted population to the impending disaster that has been created by the Federal Government, it will continue in its state of normalcy bias, and the Republic will be lost. Drifting slowly to the Left will run us off the road just as effectively as cranking the wheel over, just fewer will be awake when that happens.

You are free to vote as you choose. Go for it. Save the world. My one vote will make little difference here, but when I face my Creator, at least I will be able to say I voted my conscience.

Well, I've never bashed Cruz. I'd like to see him get reelected in Texas.

If anyone can find a post I made here or on FR bashing Cruz, that would be a find that would justify buying a lottery ticket that day. In fact, it says right here you would have better luck with the lottery ticket.

Trump is equally corrupt and probably more immoral.

Now that would make an interesting mind stretch game. Take any soul in North America, claim he or she is as corrupt and more immoral than clinton, then look for anecdotes to prove it. We could have a tournament, and the winner of that tournament gets to replace Chris Matthews on Hard Ball.

Stick around TBR a while longer.  It's not TOS, so you don't get banned for telling the truth about Trump's corruption and amorality.

There's plenty of factual evidence of his corruption, and his amoral lifestyle is something he's bragged about.

At any rate, I don't vote for amoral, corrupt liberals, so I'm not voting for Trump.

Just when I begin to believe Trump is starting to take this running for president thing seriously he yacks up some silly trivial crap like this.

It looks more and more like he's in this to start his own media company, for which his running for president is just a marketing campaign.

This stupid myth about not knowing what Trump will do must end.

He is a vile, vulgar, liberal sleazy con-man and rip-off artist, that is no mystery.

The very thought of that bugger being President of the United States makes me sick.
