The feud between Donald Trump and John Kasich took a turn for the worse Saturday after the Ohio governor turned his lack of support for the Republican nominee up a notch.

Kasich said a "divider" like Trump would have a difficult time winning his Buckeye State voters in November.

"Ohio's a snapshot of the country. People in Ohio want to see a positive agenda, a positive way to move forward," Kasich told the Philadelphia Inquirer on Friday.

While Kasich said he does not have plans to actively campaign against Trump, he could not promise he will support him at the polls in November.

"[W]e'll see what happens in the future. But right now, there's just too many differences," Kasich said. "There will be no way that I'm going to vote for Hillary Clinton. As for what I do in the end, I don't know."

Kasich and former GOP candidate Ted Cruz may both be planning to run for president again in 2020 and feel affiliating with Trump could tarnish their names.

If Kasich is well liked in Ohio then Trump's vow to fund a PAC to defeat him would seem counter-productive. Either Trump is displaying his ignorance yet again since Kasich can't run for governor again -or- Trump knows full well he is throwing the election to Hiltery and will rejoin the Democrap party when she wins and work with her to defeat actual Republicans who will run against her in 2020. :pondering:

Well, Trump certainly is not only off the rails but lying upside down on the trackside.

During the campaign, I didn't like Kasich and I didn't even like Cruz that much, but they actually have emerged as people with principles, although Kasich is wavering and may endorse Trump.

I saw today that the Vice Chair of the GOP organization in DC has announced he's quitting and he'll vote for the Constitution Party (Libertarian) candidate. Nobody in their right mind can vote for either Trump or Hillary, and I simply wasn't going to vote. But now I'm rethinking my options and wondering if maybe voting 3rd party might be better. The Libertarians are very pro-abortion, but then so is Trump (who has gotten all of his wives from his stable of escorts -err, I mean, models).

I wish somebody would emerge as a credible third party candidate, because I bet that person would get a lot of votes from the rational members of both sides.

Gary Johnson is within the margin of error of leading in Utah from one poll.

Considering Kasich won his home state of Ohio in the primaries, I would say Ohioans like him and Trump is a fool to make waves with him.  With Trump displaying an obvious attitude towards Kasich, I have no doubt that this is just another instance where he is throwing the election to Hillary.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I agree. Trump is so unfiltered he occasionally lets the real plan slip through in his ravings.

I'm pretty sure that Kasich is term limited and will be gone in 2018. (Not that it would prevent Trump from claiming he hounded him out of office)

I will be voting Constitution Party, after 42 years voting R. The Libertarian and Constitution parties are getting record sign ups now and will soon get many more after the D convention. If enough do the outcome for the winning 270 electoral votes may be at risk, throwing the election into the House of Reps and who knows how their election will turn out?

I will love to see donnie's head blow off if that happens.

That is why I think Trump is talking about working against Kasich and Cruz running for the WH in 2020. He is signaling he knows he is going to lose to HItlery and I think he will go back to the Dimocrap party where he can get his revenge. It would not be well-received if he were still a theoretical Republican and working against what is supposed to be his own party.

I do agree that its about 2020 but I'm not sure there is a republican party any more. I think they're under the control of the democrats now and will ditch the name by 2024.

One party boos God and the other party boos the constitution.

In any case, we live in interesting times.

Yes, indeed. With the progressive agenda outlined by Ivanka who will be right beside her daddy as he implements it with the help of "Caitlyn," it was hard to tell which convention we were watching.

There is a write-in effort in Texas for the Constitution Party. I emailed to find out more.
