Secret Service investigates Trump adviser who said Clinton should be executed.

The Secret Service is investigating one of Donald Trump's most outspoken supporters, a New Hampshire state representative who said this week that Hillary Clinton should be shot for treason.

“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of this matter and will conduct the appropriate investigation," Nicole Mainor, a spokeswoman for the Secret Service, said about the comments from Al Baldasaro. The investigation was first reported by the Daily Beast.

Baldasaro, a Republican from Londonderry, N.H., is a former Marine who calls himself Trump's "veteran advisor." Trump gave him a key role during a crucial moment in this campaign: In May, when Trump criticized the news media for its coverage of his promise to give $1 million to veterans groups, Baldasaro was given a speaking role and a place in the background when Trump spoke.

This week, as Republicans at the party convention in Cleveland called for Clinton to be jailed, Baldasaro went further.

I read the article, this fellow reminds me of some other guy in New Hampshire who needed to tone it down as well. This other guy was in the news a few months ago and ended up being arrested for something. Guy actually ran for Sheriff in NH, we aren't talking about non-affluent people here.

No problem. That is their job,and they are not stupid people. This WILL investigate him to see if he was just running off at the mouth,or if he is the type of person who might act on his words. Chances are he will be slapped in the hand with a small fine,told by a court to not be within "Xxx- amount of yards" or her,and sent home.

The end result will be that he will have learned a lesson about running his mouth,and his name will forever be on a list of people to never be allowed close to a political candidate.

This probably happens at least once a day somewhere in this country.

A conservative West Virginia legislator also recently said something about how Hillary should be hanged (for treason). The House speaker, also a Republican but very "establishment," condemned it.

... Speaker of the House Tim Armstead, R-Kanawha, issued a statement Monday condemning the Friday tweet, which has since been deleted from Folk's Twitter account. Folk's Twitter account has also been made private, meaning only pre-approved followers can read his posts.

"Let me make clear that Delegate Folk is not a part of the leadership team of the House, and his comments are his own and do not represent our Republican Caucus," Armstead said in the prepared statement. ...

 The original tweet made by Folk read that presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Clinton should be "tried for treason, murder, and crimes against the US Constitution then hung on the Mall in Washington, DC."

The tweet has garnered attention from major news outlets across the nation and caused an uproar with numerous Twitter users, and it has also warranted responses from Folk's employer. Folk is a commercial pilot for United Airlines.

"The pilot has been removed from his schedule and is not flying pending our investigation," said Mary Clark with the airline's media relations division in a Monday email. "We are appalled by his threatening comments." ...
