...Senator Ted Cruz spoke up last night, giving a reality check to President Obama after the attack in Nice, France, which left 80 dead.

    "Tonight, our close ally France is reeling from yet another major attack apparently carried out by radical Islamic terrorists," Cruz said in a statement late Thursday.

    With the massacre in Nice being the third mass killing in France in the last year and a half, Cruz said "Let us make no mistake about it: Europe is under siege."...

"We need to stop radicalized individuals from coming into the United States. We need to empower our law enforcement to target this specific threat, whether imported or homegrown," Cruz continued. "After seven and a half years of the Obama administration denying this danger, it is getting worse, not better. Willful blindness is not a policy."...

"They have used the last two years to establish a network of militants around the world from France to Bangladesh who are now coming to life," Cruz said. "They may be in the United States as well."...

The news regarding Hussein's plan for a UN hub to facilitate Muslim refugees (aka human rights/counter terrorism) is silent.  IMHO it's just a matter of time before we see an America under seige, much like in Europe.  Hussein's benign neglect regarding the rise of a caliphate/ISIS in the Middle East has been by design.

Hurray for Sen. Cruz. Hopefully Republicans will keep this topic simple and focused and targeted.

People cannot help but feel the US government does NOT have their safety foremost in mind. Remind them the Obama-Hillary administration gave passes to those reported to the politically correct FBI.

"Intelligent, conservative reasoning?"  All I see are platitudes without solutions.  So how would a President Cruz prevent radicalized Muslims from entering the U.S. and what empowerment does he believe the law enforcement agencies are lacking?  And how would that have prevented the last three Muslim attacks in the U.S.

They managed to miss Donald Trump saying this but they sure heard him breathing fire less than 24 hours later when in a complete reversal he called for banning all muslims from entering the USA.
