Yes, I thought Kasich as well during the primaries.  However, I think that the Trump/Kaish deal did not turn out the way John had hoped and he to me seems very bitter and he has vehemently stated several times that he will not go anywhere near the Convention and has planned events around the convention area...very unusual for a governor and a former candidate to not attend a Convention in his home state.
