I don't know what is funnier, the spinning kitty or the cat next to him looking at him like he's nuts.

Here's another version of that:

Why would they be ejected? For following the rules.

28 votes brings a rules change to the floor. Where ALL delegates vote... such is a Democratic way. What are you afraid of?
Sorry to burst your fantasy. The fact that the head of this Dump Trump movement could not get 28 named delegates, where the greatest anti-Trump effort was concentrated: the Rules Committee. And, that combined with the fact even the most anti Trump click bait articles could find opposing Trump on the first vote was about the same number of delegates obligated to vote for somebody else per the RNC rules anyway, tells people with common sense there are way less of the ones who want to do this stupid thing then you think.

This federal court ruling just cemented Trumps' nomination and rendered the 28 delegate rule proposal mute- because even if they were all free to vote "their conscious" for one most will vote for Trump anyway, and two they are still bound under their written agreements to be there with the State parties.

You are setting a record for all the ways a person can be wrong about any one subject. Great job!

No, the courts affirmed the 28 rule. That is RNC rules .. well rule. It is Stare Decisis... Scotus has so ruled as well long ago.

I guess we will see in what a week? Then rule 16 may look a lot different. And the Court has already ruled that is fine.

There is no 28 Rule, there may never be a 28 rule. The 28 may be going home.

Actually, until the RNC rules committee brings a change to the floor... 28 members on the Rules Committee can bring a floor vote on a rules change. That is as valid under recent court rullings that you love.. as well as past rulings.

Maybe it is trump going home.

We will see at Convention.

With this ruling Manfort can eject the 28 before they can propose the rule and the RNC can negate anything they have done. So they can prevent it from ever getting to a vote. However, strategically they may let it go thru knowing how few anti-Trumps actually exist so as to help build unity after its soundly defeated by the sane delegates. You know. gave it their best shot and all.

Not at all, Rule 16 only pertains too the actual first floor vote for nominee.

The Court affirmed  All previous Court rulings on this ..Stare Decisis.. it really is cut and dried. Political parties are not government. They set their own rules..

The Court only said that the prevailing rules are in force. Not only Rule 16 ..but all of them. Amongst which is the setting of rules...at Convention, which proceed anything triggered by Rule 16.

Much as you would wish it other.

You do know all your arguments you are making here were the same ones the anti-Trump expert made in court and the Judge found not-credible. So no you lost this one too. It was a very bad ruling for you.

Really, so ...you are saying that the Court ruled that RNC rules are void? Please make up your mind.

Nothing anti-trump about it. Just law. It has been well decided long ago.

You do know that the Judge has no jurisdiction to rule on party regulations.  And he was not ruling on party regulations.  So the delegates and the GOP are an entirely separate issue.

You argue like a defense attorney, deny deny deny (paraphrasing). The fact is the RNC rules and they have all the power they need to put down an insurgency. Which is what this is.

We agree again....trump is an insurgency that can be put down within the powers of the RNC rules...validated by the latest Court decisions....as well as much older ones.

Wow, I've never seen spin so opposite of reality since Obama promised to reduce healthcare costs.

Just as every cop is a criminal, and all the sinners saints . . .
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

I think Mech is getting the DNC rules confused with the RNC rules.
