Lewandowski: List of Trump VP candidates 'very small'

Top Donald Trump aide Corey Lewandowski said Sunday the presumptive Republican presidential nominee's campaign is closing in on a running mate.

"I can say that the list is very small, and we have a very good understanding of who those individuals will be and the decision will be made by Mr. Trump," Lewandowski said on "Fox News Sunday."

Lewandowski is in charge of the team that will vet potential vice presidential candidates.

Several prominent Republican names have been floated, including New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, Rep. Marsha Blackburn (Tenn.) and South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Trump said earlier this month he would stick with tradition and name his running mate at the Republican National Convention in July.

That is interesting when Trump says this early, he will require them to release their tax return to him.  He didn't have to mention that but he did.

A friend used the word, "amuck" to describe Trump's followers but I think the word actually describes Trump's behavior.  He is a person run "amuck".

"amuck:
Adjective
1. Frenzied as if possessed by a demon.
Adverb
1. In a murderous frenzy.
2. Wildly; without self-control."

This term nails Trump's behavior, so I included it in his name, (ignoring it's proper grammatical usage) - "Amuck Trump".

I saw Lewandowski on Fox News Sunday spinning for Deceptive Donald and attempting to translate trump-speak into English. He sure has his talking points down.

I think you miss the point.  Childish monikers for "The Donald" are parodies of Trump's own rhetoric:  "Little Marco", "Lyin' Ted", and the like.  They don't really need to be creative to draw attention to the grade-school bully quality of Trump's approach to politics, indeed the more childish and uncreative they are, the more they make the point.

Well, it does appear that this site holds itself above the level of discourse that  trump has elevated to be "Presidential"....  :silly:

As such, I will certainly do my best to uphold those values. And in understanding note, that trump himself says many things I cannot quote here. Ah such is the point trump has brought our discourse.. to stand on a Presidential debate stage and talk about the size of...hmmmnnn.

So you do see.. it is your trump...not #Nevertrump who has lowered the debate to the third grade playground level.

BTW, sometimes a joke is just a joke. It does not surprise me, however, that a trump supporter cannot recognize a joke...... :beer:
