I'll believe it when I have an indictment to read.  Until then I don't believe it.
:amen: I have seen this lying beyotch skate on documented criminal activity that would have anyone else in jail for 3 lifetimes. :nothappen:

My guess is that one or more of her aides gets indicted.  Some of those emails were apparently lifted word-for-word from highly classified documents, meaning that whoever did it knew that they were sending classified information over an unclassified system, and did it repeatedly.

One fly in the ointment for Hillary is that even if this Justice Department refuses to prosecute her, the next one could if she loses.  Obama could theoretically take care of that with a pardon after the election were she to lose, but the other way to do it would be to have her plead guilty to a misdemeanor.  That way she'd be protected by double jeopardy.

See the bold phrase in the quote above: Can such a serious crime like the "mishandling" of highly classified information actually be pleaded (pled?) down to a misdemeanor? Really?

I am obviously not a lawyer, but I would think that there are certain classes of crimes that cannot be reduced in a plea bargain...

And therein lies the problem.  The Obama "justice" department won't touch this.  Any indictment of Hillary results in an opening of dark closets throughout the administration itself.  Obama lives, eats and breathes one thing:  his own self-preservation.  No way will he allow Loretta Lynch to move an indictment forward.

I am not concerned about the FBI doing its job. I am concerned about the Justice Department and the Executive doing theirs.

Exactly.  The legal system has unwritten set-asides for the likes of the Clintons.  Aggravating as it is, it's understood in this country they simply aren't beholden to the same laws that govern the rest of us.

Whether or not we like it the fact is that we now live in a banana republic where the law is only used to persecute those who refuse to conform!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

I have seen several "hints" in the news that the Obama Administration will use the "Petraeus Option". Remember, Petraeus pled guilty to a misdemeanor. In this case, an "indictment" will be announced, along with an immediate pleading of "nolo contendere", and Clinton skates. There will be a fury of news for a day, or two, and then it will be "old news".  The evening news casts will play up the Petraeus comparison, and will focus on the nolo contendere, rather than "guilty" plea, and then it will die.  In my view, she's guilty of treason, and should be found guilty, and hung for it, but, remember, Clintons are NEVER guilty.
Maybe, but Petraeus's career was over as a result of the scandal.  Hillary shouldn't be able to enter any position of public trust if she's guilty of even a misdemeanor (of this nature), so any remotely ethical plea deal would have to exclude her from such positions, including the presidency.  Of course, there's "should" and then there's what Lynch and Obama will do :)

Hillary should never be allowed near the White House. Her enabling of her sexual predator husband should be enough, but Benghazi should seal her fate. I can't wait to see Mark "Oz" Geist, John "TIG" Tiegen and  Michael T. Flynn speak of Hillary.

Hey Bruce- recognize your name from FR- I posted in a few threads you did recently over there- wow- is it getting ugly there- Anyway- I don't see the next justice prosecuting her simply because they will be too afraid to- Could dear leader pardon her after he's out of office? She would have to be convicted first though-- I have a sick feeling she will get away with this- Trump if he's nominated, will likely go after her big time on this one point- (although i think she will make him look like a chump on actual policy issues because he doesn't appear to really know what he's doing, and when pressed on actual issues, he has to retreat behind insults all the time because he has no answers- I just read through the debate transcript from one of the debates the other day to see if he actually talked policies- and for the most part nope- just used a lot of catch phrases he knew would get a cheer like "I'll kick every illegal out' or something like that-) (Note, I am not for her- I'm just pointing out that whatever else she is, she has political policies down pat- wrong, but she knows her positions inside and out- trump, not so much according to what we've seen so far for htem ost part)

Anyways- What an ugly election season this year- we have a criminal running on the left, a communist/socialist on the left, and a businessman who has shown that he apparently doesn't know what he's talking about on policy- So he'll be 'winging it' if he gets into office-
