How about a GOPe debate between Cruz and Kasich, and the loser drops out afterward.  Or maybe Kasich debates Sanders and Clinton and is the VP pick for whoever wins the Dem nomination.
  Hey did you know Kasichs father was a mailman?  :king:

Your side says Trump is the same as Hillary.  Prove it.

Thinking promises aren't being made and contracts guaranteed to flip to the very unpopular Cruz is naive.

Really?  That lame?

And, no, Cruz is not unpopular with a whole bunch of people.  You're too blinded to understand that.

Again - you made a very ugly unfounded accusation - back it up or retract it.

Debates aren't going to change anyones mind. People for Trump and people for Cruz are not going to suddenly go to the other side because of a debate.

Au contrair, mon ami,  The more people (read: undecided voter's) see "Donald unleased" in action, the better.  He is a spray-tanned vile pus bucket of a human.  The more you know about him, the more there is to hate about him.

80% of GOP voters don't like him.  He's unpopular.  He'll get crushed by Hillary, which is exactly what the GOPe wants.

I'm not going to play the semantics game, but there is a reason delegates are pledging to the last place PA finisher even before the election is held, and it's not Ted's winning personality.

Ted basically bribes delegates in a state where he's extremely unpopular.
Trump earns them.

Yet Trump is the corrupt one.

Guess who got the NYT's endorsement in the GOP primary?

You keep slithering away from producing any evidence for your earlier accusation.  Not a very honorable thing to do.  If you were just running your mouth, admit it and move on.  If you can show us where Cruz is doing something unethical and potentially illegal, do it.

That must be why his lead in GOP polling keeps increasing.  When will he learn!

I know how unbound delegates are bought and paid for via political donations and favors.  Do you deny this happens?  Promises are made.

Donald Trump said he won't take advantage of what he called the "crooked" Republican delegate system, after allegations that Ted Cruz's campaign has paid for hotel rooms for delegates and taken them out to dinners, but if he wanted to, he has "better toys" than anyone.

Trump said his campaign lost Wyoming because they didn't want to spend money on "buying delegates."

Ah, now I see what you have structured your accusation on - the unsubstantiated words of the ever-truthful Trump.  OK, you go with that.  I understand you now.

Trump was responding to a question about Cruz buying dinners and hotel rooms for delegates.

You asked, I answered.  Cruz has never denied it.

That's just silly.  You've never denied that you quit beating your dog either.  You can do better than that.

Develop some skepticism.   Make 'em work for your vote.  Don't just believe what your chosen one tells you.  (Especially when he tends to change his statements regularly.)

It's not illegal to buy dinners and hotel rooms, or even for a campaign to pay expenses for a delegate.  Trump has said he won't do it, but it's no shame that Cruz is buying delegates as the establishment rules allow.

The difference being, that poster was never accused of beating his/her dog. You should be able to do better than that.

That is one thing I know that will not change.....you not wanting Trump ever, and me wanting Trump.  I will always see that in Cruz, you won't ever see it.

Bingo. And why give the traitorous media one more free shot at the non-socialist / non-communist candidates?

Trump is doing well because people forgot about what a complete bleep he is, not to mention how utterly uninformed he is. We need another debate to remind them.

Flowers, I consider myself a pragmatic optimist.  If it were in Cruz to see, I think I would see it.  It just ain't there.  I know the propaganda has been hot and heavy and makes it difficult to see pretty much anything, but basing a decision on history, past statements and stances and accomplishments is very useful and can cut through the fog.

When someone posts something negative about Cruz that is even remotely believable, I check it out.  So far, he's clean.  Not perfect, but acceptable.

I do the same for DT.  And, again, I don't have any particular animus towards DT, I just don't trust him as a presidential candidate based on his history and positions held and changed, and the fact that he is willing to say the most outrageous things about other candidates.  Pedophile and Ben Carson spring to mind.

I will also add that you are one of the very few vocal DT supporters whom I have not put on ignore, because you have retained some sanity and don't find the need to incessantly bash non-DT supporters. (I don't like how that sounds, but I am trying to be as honest as possible too.)

I keep reminding myself that this will only last for another few months and we should all be mature enough to handle it in the meantime and resume relationships after it is settled.  I hope that is the case.

Trump won't debate.  He knows Cruz would kill him in a debate and he's not about to risk anything going forward.  Of course, his refusal would show him to be the coward that he is and afraid of a real policy discussion.

 Cruz would prove Trump to be the phony, fraud and liar that he is.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

I've a better idea.

Let's get Trump, Cruz, Kasich, Bernie, and o'er-the-Hillary all on one stage, for a free-for-all.

That would be GREAT..!  ;)
