These days it does not matter if they twirl their mustache or not.
The Left is so deeply deluded and so full of hate, they will vote for any monster who says the right catchphrases.

It is the Left's motivation to support that which is not ___________(fill in the blank), without thought about what it IS, that causes my absolute reticence when it comes to Conservatives being painted into a corner where they vote based on the same logic, only with different triggers.
It is the reason lesser evil voting patterns are the paint which will corner us, just as the Left's hatred has driven them into the corner of Global Socialism (the world communist totalitarian model).
That model has its carrots (think Earth vs the galaxy, world peace, united in purpose, etc.), but it has it's whips, too. Are they fighting for the Motherland, or to keep their guys behind them from shooting them in the back? (Reference to scenes from
Enemy at the Gates. There are those on the 'Right" who see that model as being the road to profit, wealth, and power as well.
We need candidates we can vote for because of who they are, not just who they aren't. Until then, it's just a binary sh*tshow of' is you is or is you ain't', and a far cry from the strong Liberty of the Constitutional Republic the Founders envisaged. Logically, it leaves us little better off than the little people of the Left.
