No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

A government big enough to give you everything you want
is a government big enough to take away everything you have.

Who is that boy with the goatee, and why is so mad? Is it because someone make him wear braids?

The face is David Hogg, the teenage "survivor" of the Parkland shooting--and self-appointed anti-gun crusader.  The braids are from Greta Thunberg, the teenage climate change aficionado and winner of the Emmy award for best performance in a comedy at the UN.

They are two teenage rising stars cut from the same cloth....crazy.

I don't get it. The world is supposed to end in another ten or twelve years (again), you'd think they'd be out having some thoroughly irresponsible fun instead of all this doom and gloom stuff.
Definitely not cut from the same cloth as us older guys...

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
