"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

I haven't seen Groundhog Day, but it's on my list.

Bump it up toward the top.

OK, you've announced your attitude for the day, and we know which side of the toilet you got up on.  Maybe someday you'll post something clever and meaningful.

Someday you'll post a graphic to this thread.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Congratulations @Sanguine you got my picture removed.  As you'll recall it was picture of hats in the shape of poop and the caption said "new MAGA hats in."
@MOD8 felt it violated the TBR standards and removed it.  MOD8's explanation follows...

Quote from: Mod5

Once-ler, you ask why an image of a pile of poop with Trump's name on it got deleted.  Please refer to:

I and the MODs will now start being more diligent in enforcing these simple rules which are:

            No personal insults
No comments meant to derail the thread
No intentionally trying to incite another poster
And, no comments that denigrate TBR and/or its members.  You can always go elsewhere if you do not like the environment here.

Let us know if you still have any questions.

I replied...

Quote
#1. I agree my posted picture of poop hats with the tagline "new MAGA hats in" was a personal insult at President Trump.  Is that verboten?  Am I not allowed to insult the President or people who wear MAGA hats in general?
#2. I don't think my picture derailed the political picture thread.
#3. It is likely my picture disturbed the delicate sense of some Trump fans but it is not intentional.  Facts don't care about their feelings and if they can't view criticism dumbed down to their level that is hardly my problem.  Unless they are a Mod, I guess.
#4 My post didn't denigrate anyone but President Trump and his zombie faithful.

Thank you for your response.  Please share this with some other Mod, for a more trusted view point, and I will give you an hour to restore my post if you so choose.  Then I will post my reply to the forum.

I understand being a Mod is a thankless job, and I appreciate your willingness to ensure standards, and I have no animosity towards you, but I don't believe my picture violated any of the standards you responded with, and I believe only you have made the choice to censor me.  Please share this with the other Mods, to set you straight, or restore my post.

I have not received a reply perhaps @Mod1 @Mod2 @MOD3 @MOD4 or @Mod5 could let me know if they are aware of the no poop picture standard and if it applies to emojis or written words like feces and excrement?

I can't speak for the Mods, @Once-Ler and though I found it hilarious, it definitely would have upset the fragile karma we have here amongst the Trumpers, as it is.

Kinda glad I didn't see it.  Sounds like low-brow potty insult, rather than clever commentary that I like.
