@EasyAce

I agree,and expressed that sentiment when I first came here. Didn't do a bit of good.

I was half afraid of that!

"Like buttons" can lead to popularity contests,  they are okay for newspaper articles but I'm not convinced so much for forums.

I have a friend who is now a strong Evangelical, a very charitable person but, as he tells me, in the '70s and early '80s, he was one of those "Deadheads" who followed them some; we didn't go into a lot but obviously, he saw many concerts by them and traveled some to do it. He's done pretty well for himself.

Some/Most bands, I've heard their music so much, it is good but I'm often on the outlook for something new nowadays.

As George Jones sang with Barbara Mandrell "I was country before country was cool", just in case, a few don't know about Jones and mainly music from as early as 2008, just saying....

@TomSea

There is country,and there is Music To Slash Your Wrists By. Here is a prime example of the later,and I'm betting you have already guessed who wrote and sang it while reading this.

I enjoy this generally than the HWJR after that, I think he got into an accident that hurt his voice or something. The song is by the Kershaws.

   He fell off Ajax Mountain in Montana, smashed half his face (hence the sunglasses), it didn't affect his voice, though @TomSea.

   He sings about it here

One of my old-time favorites that I had almost forgotten about. Last time I saw him perform was in a bar in the late 70's,and the place only held about 300 people.

I'd give that Jesse Colin Young song good grades. Melllow acoustic, this one below is without any windpipes.

Oh, I'll listen to Antonio later tonight.

Always liked Weather Report and I always particularly favored this album over the others that I had heard, so I haven't heard them all. There is not a weak moment on Sweetnighter imo.

And finally,Barry McGuire I thought this stuff was hilarious back then,and now think it's quaint. VERY well-done,though.
