The Dems face the same issue that the GOP does -  the support for both Sanders and Trump come largely from individuals who have rarely been motivated to vote before.   If neither man is nominated, many of these folks will likely disappear back into the woodwork.   Especially fascinating is what will happen if either man - or both - mounts an independent third party bid.

It's too late to run third party for either Trump or Sanders -- they have already qualified and are on the ballot in all 50 states as running for the GOP and DEM party respectively.  Deadlines have come and gone.

That seems to be a fair assesment of the situation. The Whackadoodles who support Uncle Bernie will not support Frau Blucher.  I just wonder how many would stay home and not support any candidate....and,  would it make a significant difference?

Considering that Bernie is polling ahead of Clinton right now in New Hampshire, I would think it would make a significant difference.  My bet though is on Bernie rather than Clinton.

I hope she has no choice but to put Crazy Uncle Bernie on the ticket.
