They say It Could Happen To You, but this Con has the Air of something no simple Family Man could be a part of.

Nope, this Kick Ass Face Off between the U.S. government, Nicolas Cage and Mongolia is the stuff of Lords of War.

The (fossilized) Rock in question was found in Mongolia, then Gone in 60 Seconds, removed by a rogue paleontologist. The removal of bones dinosaurs Left Behind in the country is illegal.

The National Treasure was discovered missing when the paleontologist, Eric Prokopi, was arrested in 2012.

He had pulled it from The Frozen Ground and sold it to a gallery, who then auctioned it off.

Cage willingly returned the skull to authorities after its provenance was discovered.

He was done Guarding Tyrannosaurus Tess.

That gave me a good laugh this morning. (I do like the working of Cage's movie titles into the story. The question is, did he Knowing-ly take the skull or not?)
