I honestly believe the administration wants to see a Middle East caliphate established, a new Ottoman Empire bringing order to the area. I believe they believe it will bring 'peace in our time'. They want a Middle Eastern EU, and who better to pull that off than the heirs of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, Isis. This group has been fighting for a caliphate since 1947. They were trained by the Nazis during WWII as a plan to have a Middle Eastern ally and at the end of WWII, they lost power but continued to fight for the goals, and never stopped.

Up until now, our national policy has been to keep these nations not unified as another Ottoman Empire, but more radical in religious beliefs, would be a far more dangerous prospect for us.

The current administration thinks otherwise.

And that's why, once again, it illustrates why this:

Must be changed to this:
