Team Hillary prepares 'Clinton Cash' response

Hillary Clinton's (D) presidential campaign is launching a website to counter the release of Clinton Cash, new book that raises questions about donations to the family’s foundation while she was secretary of State.
Clinton campaign Chairman John Podesta announced the effort — dubbed "The Briefing" — in a post to the publishing platform Medium.
Podesta linked the site to the release of "Clinton Cash," a book that raises questions about the Clinton family's finances but that critics say is a partisan strike against Clinton's campaign.
"While we will not be consumed by these kinds of attacks, we will also not let them go unchallenged," Podesta said. "That’s why we are building a new one-stop shop to provide the facts about Hillary Clinton’s positions and her record."
"You will be able to find information and it will serve as a hub that allows Hillary for America to cut through the partisan noise over the next 18 months and directly communicate with voters," he said.
News of the website was first reported by the New York Times, which reported that it would be live starting on Tuesday — the same day "Clinton Cash" goes on sale to the public.
The Clinton camp has already be making an effort to undermine the book by challenging its reporting and trying to paint its author, Peter Schweizer, as a partisan warrior.
The announcement was also made the same day that Clinton's lawyer said that she would be willing to testify this month before a House committee investigating the 2012 attacks on the diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.
