It's great fiction, however.

You have a black quarterback who is not at all shy about invoking God as the most important part of his success.  Who incidentally, has not a hint of African-American dialect or cadence when he speaks.

Couple that with the touchy-feely commercials of lost or threatened puppies and all the other hanky grabbers.

...and somehow, having Beast-Mode, after showing up and ridiculing the NFL organization all week become the hero and MVP grabbing his crotch, etc.,

one can only conclude:  Indeed, there is a God!

and He's a Patriots' fan.

Not trying to be disagreeable here, but as an Ohio State fan from birth, Woody Hayes coached very, very boring games.   ^-^

LOL!  Bo Schembechler would agree.

Ah yes........ he, who shall not be named, from the state up north, which shall not be named.....  :smokin:
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

How godly can he be?  He's dating Katy Perry...

I remember those games as a kid. They called Big 10 football '3 yards and a cloud of dust' then. There or the Big 8, if you saw a pass play it was like seeing a unicorn. I remember whole games where maybe one pass was thrown, and I think the QB got chewed out for doing it.
The Republic is lost.
