5 Saudi Muslims Taken Off Plane in Boston w/Unknown Symptoms

The last thing Muslims brought to Boston was the Marathon Massacre. Now Boston has a new, though probably unintentional Muslim threat to worry about.
The plane, Emirates flight 237 that arrived from Dubai, was surrounded by ambulances and emergency responders in white and yellow suits.
Airport officials said that none of the passengers taken ill had come from West Africa. Family members said they had come from Saudi Arabia.
The U.S. Customs and Border Protections said none of these five passengers on Emirates Flight 237 has traveled to West Africa recently. Three of the five patients were transported to Massachusetts General Hospital, the hospital confirmed.
Jaffea Mohamed, 34, said at the airport that he is waiting for his in-laws, who were traveling from India via Dubai, to come off the plane.
Maimoona Shaikh, also at Logan, said she is waiting for her husband’s aunt and uncle to come off the plane. She said that her family members traveled to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, for the Hajj, and were coming back on the Emirates flight via Dubai.
She said she is not worried for her family, and that “it’s common to come back [from the Hajj] and have a little cold.”
It’s actually common to have a lot more than that.
Saudi Arabia is the centre of an outbreak of the deadly new virus, named Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus, that is similar to the SARS virus that killed hundreds of people world-wide in the early 2000s and infected thousands more.
Vicky Sheppeard, the director of the Communicable Disease Branch within NSW Health, said the gathering of more than 3 million people in one place drastically increases the risk of disease.
So we could be looking at that.
